La penultima settimana si svolge all'insegna del caldo e del bel tempo, con un po' di brezza che ci rinfresca ogni tanto.
Le catture sono più o meno costanti, con una media di 400 uccelli al giorno pr gli ultimi due giorni. Le specie più catturate in assoluto sono beccafico e canapino, segno che il passo volge al termine.
Ci sono però alcune specie ancora tipiche di altri periodi, come il codirossone!
The second to last week of the season is going on under a clear sunny sky, where some breeze sometimes gives us some relief.
The captures' rates are more or less constant, with an average of total individuals around 400 birds for the last two days. The principal species are Garden warbler and Icterine warbler, which tell us that the migratory passage is almost at the end...even if still some species typical of the previous period appear sometimes...like the Common rock trush!
Abbiamo anche avuto un individuo di Luì verde dalla colorazione anomala - forma: luteo.
We also had an individual of Wood warbler showing an anomaly in the colour - type: luteum.
E fra i tanti Canapini maggiori proprio oggi, venerdì 19 maggio, abbiamo inanellato un Canapino comune, riconoscibile principalmente dalla prima remigante più lunga rispetto le PC e dal fatto che ha dimensioni visibilmente minore.
Among the several Icterine warblers we also had a Melodius warbler, which is distinguishable thanks to the fact that the first remigant is longer than the PC and the dimensions are clearly smaller.
Secondo le previsioni meteo, domani sarà un giorno ventoso, perciò siamo curiosi di vedere come andranno le catture della giornata.
