Marzo pazzerello si è fatto sentire questa settimana. A causa di pioggia e vento abbiamo dovuto aprire e chiudere la stazione più volte. Infatti, con condizioni meteo avverse le reti vengono chiuse, sia perchè le catture sono meno probabili, sia per evitare qualsiasi rischio di ferimento degli animali.
March has shown its crazyness this week. Due to rain and wind we had to open and close the station several times. In fact, with adverse weather conditions the nets are closed, both because catches are less likely, and to avoid any risk of injury to the animals.
In tutto dal primo marzo abbiamo inanellato 140 uccelli.
Oltre ad un secondo Frullino, abbiamo catturato i primi Balestruccio e Allodola della stagione, mentre le specie più comuni sono Pettirosso, Tordo Bottaccio, Storno, Luì piccolo.
In total, since March 1st we have ringed 140 birds.
In addition to a second Jack snipe, we caught the first House Martin and Skylark of the season, while the most common species are Robin, Song Thrush, Starling, and Chiffchaff.
