...plastica! Questo materiale così resistente, duttile e assolutamente ubiquitario ha ormai contaminato qualsiasi ambiente. Siamo abituati a vedere i 'continenti di plastica' accumulata dalle correnti in mezzo al mare o l'inquinamento dovuto ai meno rispettosi in giro per gli spazi verdi che frequentiamo, e questa volta la plastica ha raggiunto anche noi! Qui ci troviamo presso il tranasetto in cimo alla collina, il più esposto in termini di vento, e proprio il vento ha fatto finire un sacchetto di plastica in una delle sacche! Almeno lo abbiamo potuto recuperare noi e riciclarlo correttamente: un po' di plastica in meno libera nell'ambiente!

Ma torniamo al focus della nostra attività: gli uccelli!
Siamo letteralmente alle porte della primavera, per cui la diversità di specie aumenta ogni giorno, con nuovi arrivi per la stagione.
Ad esempio, nella seconda parte della settimana abbiamo inanellato i primi Prispolone (Anthus trivialis) e Forapaglie (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus) della stagione. Quest'ultimo ha anticipato di un po' il suo arrivoo alla nostra stazione: l'anno scorso, ad esempio, il primo esemplare di questa specie non si è fatto vedere fino all'11 aprile!

We are literally on the verge of spring, so species diversity is increasing every day, with new arrivals for the season.
For example, in the second part of the week we ringed the first Tree pipit (Anthus trivialis) and Sedge warbler (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus) of the season. The latter anticipated his arrival at our station a bit: last year, for example, the first specimen of this species did not show up until the 11th of April!
