Prima che le reti venissero chiuse venerdì sera per il fortissimo maestrale che continua a soffiare, fra le ricatture è comparso un Beccafico inanellato a Zagabria. Ipotizziamo che sia stato inanellato in autunno, poichè normalmente quella è la rotta della migrazione di ritorno in Africa per lo svernamento.
Dati di questo tipo sono proprio i più preziosi per la pratica dell'inanellamento a scopo sicentifico, perchè permettono di tracciare le rotte e le tendenze delle specie ornitiche in migrazione. La media di ricattura per i piccoli passeriformi e di 1 su 1000: ogni individuo a cui è già stato posto l'anello è quindi importante ai fini della ricerca.
Before the nets were closed on Friday evening because of the strong wind still blowing, a Garden warbler ringed in Zagreb have been captured. We hypothesize that it was ringed in autumn, as this is normally the migration route back to Africa for wintering. Data of this type are the most precious for the practice of scientific bird ringing because they allow to trace the routes and trends of migratory ornithic species. The average rate of recapture for small passerines is about 1 out of 1000: every individual already ringed is therefore important for research purposes.
