Buon tempo e luna quasi piena hanno permesso a un'ondata di pettirossi di entrare in massa nelle nostre reti la sera di Pasquetta. Fra i pettirossi, però, abbiamo trovato anche una bella sorpresa: un gufo comune, il terzo catturato in tutta la storia di CISCA.
In tutto, lunedì abbiamo messo l'anello a circa 300 uccelli.
Nice weather and an almost full moon brought a big mass of robins into our nets on Easter Monday night. Among robins, we found also an amazing surprise: a long-eared owl (the third caught at the Ponza station ever!).
In total, on Monday, we ringed more or less 300 birds.
Le previsioni promettono bel tempo per i prossimi giorni, perciò ci aspettiamo di aumentare un po' la media delle catture giornaliere. Siamo pronti, qui in stazione, non temiamo niente ora che abbiamo una super tenda nuova di zecca!
