Siamo entrati a pieno régime delle attività di Ponza. Il weekend appena trascorso si è svolto all'insegna del bel tempo e un elevato numero di catture.
In tutto, venerdì, sabato e domenica abbiamo riempito rispettivamente 27 schede (più o meno 405 uccelli), 20 schede e 30 schede.
Fra tutte le catture, un altro Falco di Palude (nella foto) e una ricattura di Luì grosso proveniente dalla Finlandia.
We have entered fully into the usual activities rythm of Ponza. Last weekend we had good weather and a high number of catches. In total, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday we filled respectively 27 sheets (more or less 405 birds), 20 sheets and 30 sheets. Among all the catches, another Western marsh harrier (photo) and a recapture of Willow warbler from Finland.
Qualche leggero episodio di pioggia ha portato la sabbia del Sahara sull'isola, come testimoniano le gocce di pioggia colorate sulle foglie della vegetazione attorno a noi, ma il meteo sembra essersi - finalmente - stabilizzato e ci fa sperare per un ultimo mese proficuo.
Some light rain brought some Sahara sand on the island, as the brownish raindrops on the leaves around us are witnessing. The weather seems now to be stable - finally, which let us hope for a fruitful last month of activity.
