Il tempo è meraviglioso sull'isola di Ponza in questi giorni ma il tempo per godersi un po' di sole al mare è poco visto che i numeri di catture stanno salendo.
Mercoledì abbiamo totalizzato 533 catture, mentre ieri siamo arrivati a 650 uccelli inanellati, con un'abbondanza maggiore in mattinata. Infatti, già alle 13.00 avevamo catturato 500 uccelli.
Le specie più numerose sono quelle tipiche di questo periodo: Beccafichi, Balie, Stiaccini e Sterpazzole, con i Beccafichi sempre più in aumento.

The weather is fantastic on Ponza Island now, but not so much time is left to enjoy the sun at the beach, since a lot of birds are coming in these days.
On Wednesday we reached a total of 533 captures , while yesterday we ringed 650 birds, with a major concentration of the captures in the morning. In fact, at 1pm we already got 500 birds in our nets since the dawn.
The most abundant species are those typical of this period: Garden warbler, Flycatchers, Whinchats, and Whitethroats, with the Garden Warblers becoming more and more numerous.
