La prima settimana di attività - o meglio, la prima mezza settimana - ci ha fatto raggiungere un numero di uccelli inanellati a tre cifre: ad oggi conteggiamo circa 100 catture per il 2022.
La maggior parte degli individui inanellati in questi giorni hanno con ogni probabilità svernato qui sull'isola.
The first week of activity - or rather, the first half week - made us reach a three-digit number of ringed birds: to date we count about 100 catches for 2022.
Most of the individuals ringed these days have most probably overwintered here on the island.

Mostly we caught species typical of the period but there were surprises: in fact, on Thursday at dawn we found a Jack snipe in the nets!
A causa del maltempo siamo stati chiusi tutta la giornata di sabato, mentre da oggi le attività sono riprese normalmente. L'inizio di stagione, quando l'isola si sta ancora risvegliando, è sempre caratterizzato da numeri bassi, ritmi abbastanza rilassati e temperature fredde.
Due to bad weather we were closed all day on Saturday, while from today the activities have resumed normally. The beginning of the season, when the island is still awakening, is always characterised by low numbers, quite relaxed rhythms and cold temperatures.
