Vento e pioggia persistono sull’isola di Ponza. Vere e proprie tempeste di pioggia si scatenano ogni giorno e vediamo muri d’acqua avvicinarsi minacciosi dal mare.
Nelle poche ore in cui le reti sono aperte – normalmente di mattina – prendiamo una media di 8-10 uccelli. Le specie sono diverse: tordo bottaccio, sterpazzolina, occhiocotto, pettirosso, codirosso, luì piccolo, luì grosso, fringuello e upupa.
Wind and rain persist on the island of Ponza. Impetuous storms rage every day and we can see big fronts of rain coming from the sea.
In the few hours the nets have been opened – normally only during the morning – we caught an average of 8-10 birds in total. However, we had different species: song thrush, subalpine warbler, Sardinian warbler, robin, redstart, chiffchaff, willow warbler, chaffinch and hoopoe.
