E con la giornata di domenica 19 maggio si è conclusa anche la stagione di inanellamento 2019 a Ponza!
L'ultimo uccello inanellato è stato proprio il pigliamosche che vedete nella foto sopra.
Nonostante sia stata una stagione all'insegna del maltempo, con pioggia, freddo e vento per praticamente tutte le settimane, la stagione 2019 si chiude con 17.000 uccelli inanellati in tutto. Ciò fa del 2019 la 4^ miglior stagione in termini di numeri complessivi. Sul podio abbiamo in ordine decrescente gli anni: 2015, 2012, e 2011.
Ci teniamo a dire un enorme GRAZIE a tutti, perchè la nostra stazione non esisterebbe senza l'aiuto di fantastici e instancabili volontari, aiutanti, visitatori e simpatizzanti. Grazie anche per averci trasmesso grande entusiasmo nel mettere in pratica un duro lavoro e assistendoci con genuina dedizione.
Vi auguriamo una buona estate e vi aspettiamo per la stagione 2020!

On Sunday the 19th of May we definitively closed the ringing season 2019 on Ponza!
The very last ringed bird was the Spotted flycatcher you can see in the photo above.
Even if it has been a season characterised by bad weather, with rain, wind and cold temperature almost every week, we got to ring about 17'000 birds in total. This make the season 2019 the 4th best in terms of total numbers of birds. On the podium we find in a decreasing order: 2015, 2012, 2011.
A big THANK YOU to every one of you, we couldn't do this without you. You all did a fantastic job which we appreciate a lot. Thank you so much for your great work, enthusiasm and genuine dedication in assisting us in everything we do. We had a fantastic time with you all. And thanks to all the visitor, helpers and supporters that are following our activities.
We wish you all a great summer and we hope to see you back here in Ponza for the ringing season 2020. We are looking forward to welcome you back.
